Mãlama Program

The Mālama Program provides personalized academic support for students who may benefit from more structured guidance. Students can be referred by instructors or choose to participate voluntarily. Each student works with Learning Center staff to create a tailored action plan, which may include ongoing sessions with dedicated tutors, faculty, or staff to help them reach their academic goals.

“We're not hear to just answer questions, we're here to teach skills to succeed academically” (CK, Head Librarian)

With a focus on long-term growth, the Mālama Program helps students build confidence and take ownership of their academic journey. To schedule a tutoring session, please contact the Library & Learning Center at library@tokai.edu
