Tuition & Fees

All amounts are listed per term per person, unless otherwise noted. Please note that tuition and fees are subject to change based on HTIC policy or state requirements.

Tuition

  • Liberal Arts Degree Program: $5,200 per term for full-time students (9 credit hours are  required to be a full-time student). $580 per credit hour for part-time students (plus fees). 

  • College Preparatory Program: $5,200 per term for full-time students (18 contact  hours per week required to be a full-time student).  

Liberal Arts and College Preparatory Program students are assessed $320 in mandatory student and  internet usage fees each term. In addition, Liberal Arts students in their final term of study will be  assessed a $100 graduation fee during the registration process.

Housing

A non-refundable processing fee of $20 is required with all housing applications. Other housing costs  include a $100 non-refundable in & out fee, $1,000 deposit and an optional $100 non-refundable charge  for a set of bedding, including a pillow, blanket, and towels. All housing fees must be paid in advance or  upon moving in.

Meal Plans

Resident students will have the option of choosing from three different meal plans ($800 /  $900 / $1,000). Meal plans are mandatory for all students living in the dormitory.

  • $5,200 per term. Students who enroll in all four terms pay about $20,800 per year; those who take three terms (e.g., taking one quarter off) pay about $15,600 per year. Tuition is billed on a per-term basis; additional fees cover housing, meal plans, and other related services. See Tuition and Fees for more details.

  • Tuition payment is typically due before the start of each term according to the academic calendar. Payment methods often include online payment via credit/debit card, bank transfer, or payment portal. Payment plans or installment options may be available. Contact the Fiscal Office for deadlines, plan details, and instructions on how to set up payments.

  • Yes. Available scholarships include the Gateway Scholarship, Global Citizen Scholarship, and TOEFL Scholarship. See Scholarship for eligibility criteria, award details, and application procedures.

  • Yes. New U.S. freshmen who meet the Gateway Scholarship requirements are automatically considered. See Scholarship for more details.
